Our Group operations are split into eight divisions:

Chilled
The Chilled division produces a range of products including puddings, ready meals, soups, sandwiches, wraps, salads, chilled pizzas, sushi and prepared chicken products. Brands include the Matthew Walker Christmas puddings as well as a whole range of retailer own label products. There are a number of sites in the division all over the UK serving customers including the major retailers.

European Poultry
This division is made up of six sites in Holland and one in Poland. It produces fresh and frozen poultry and supplies to industry, manufacturers and retailers.

Fox’s Biscuits
This division produces the range of Fox’s Biscuits from its three sites for all major retailers. Retailer own label biscuit products are also produced in this division.

Frozen
The Frozen division produces frozen pizza, vegetables, pies and fish and includes the brands Goodfella’s, Holland’s Pies, McDougalls Pies, Green Isle and Donegal Catch in its portfolio. The division supplies to all major retailers with Holland’s Pies also selling product via fish and chip shops and sports stadiums.

UK Poultry
The division consists of primary sites where chickens are delivered from nearby farms and cutting sites where the portioning, deboning and filleting of chicken takes place. The UK Poultry division supplies to a range of retailers as well as foodservice businesses and food manufacturers. It predominantly produces private label products however there are some brands including Buxted and Devonshire Red.
Each site is unique, with the equipment and specialist staff to support our high standards for animal welfare and production. All our sites are regularly, independently audited in full accordance with UK and European legislation.
Innovation is important to us and we have a team of dedicated development professionals working across all three divisions, delivering innovative products, packaging and processing to keep us at the forefront of the industry.

Bakery division

The acquisition of Brookes Avana was completed on December 30th 2011. Brookes Avana has three locations at Leicester, Rogerstone Park and Avana in South Wales making ready meals, accompaniments, chilled pizza, pies, cake, desserts and puddings. From January 2013, we created a new Bakery division, alsoincluding Gunstones Bakery and The Pizza Factory with the remainder of the Brookes Avana business falling under the Chilled division.

2 Sisters Red Meat

The Red Meat division comprises of four sites, including St Merryn Foods (3 sites) and McIntosh Donald in Aberdeenshire.

2 Sisters Poultry

Following the acquisition of Vion’s Poultry business in March 2013, 2 Sisters now operates the UK processing sites. This division employs over 3500 colleagues.
